New Water Management Course!

ENVS 275: Water and Environmental Management: MWF 11-11:50 a.m. in SCSC Room 211.

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the science of hydrology and the principles of natural resource management. Students will learn the physical processes governing the movement, distribution, and quality of water in natural and managed environments. The course also covers the challenges of managing water resources, including policy, law, and the socio-economic impacts of water management. Case studies from around the world will be used to explore the complexities of water governance and the role of technology, policy, and public engagement in sustainable water management. Prerequisites: ENVS 111 or instructor consent
