We’re excited to announce the SLU Proposal application is open! If you’re passionate about creating a mission-driven, close-knit living space at Ohio Wesleyan, this is your opportunity to propose a new Small Living Unit (SLU). SLUs are unique communities aligned with OWU’s Mission & Aims, providing students a chance to live with purpose alongside others with shared values. Here’s how to start your SLU proposal process:
- Build a Team: Connect with others who share your vision.
- Find an Advisor: Select a faculty or staff member (not already advising a SLU) to guide your group’s mission.
- Ensure Eligibility: Applicants need a 2.0 GPA and a positive record with Community Standards.
- Complete the Proposal Form: Due by Dec. 6, 2024, at 5 p.m.
- Prepare for Your Presentation: Presentations will occur from Nov. 18 to Dec. 12, 2024.
Final decisions will be announced by Dec. 18, 2024. More information will be sent via email from reslife@owu.edu on Nov. 18 or sooner. For questions, please reach out to reslife@owu.edu. Current SLU members should contact their Moderator for renewal details.
