NAMI Mental Wellness – Emotional Stages and Coping Skills – Nov. 4

The Bishop Wellness Committee has partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on a series of small group educational sessions specific to OWU employees that you are invited to register for and attend. Nov. 4 – Emotional Stages and Coping Skills – 3 pm
2020 has been full of traumatic events for all of us. Learn what the predictable stages of emotional reactions to trauma are, how to identify your needs and participate in a coping skill strategy.

Nov. 17 – Emotional Stages and Coping Skills Small Group Session – 3 pm
Meet with a smaller group of people to discuss in more depth the predictable stages of emotional reactions and find support for the stage you are in.

Dec. 10 – Ending the Silence for Staff – 3 pm
An engaging presentation that helps audience members learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. 1-hour presentation for school staff members that includes information about warning signs, facts and statistics, how to approach students and how to work with families.
