May is Mental Health Month – More Good Days Together

May is Mental Health Month, and our friends at Mental Health America are celebrating “more good days together.”

“More good days” doesn’t mean perfect days. It means checking in with yourself. It means reaching out when you’re not OK—and celebrating the small wins when you are. It means showing up for each other, even in simple ways.

Make a plan to visit friends over summer break. Take a walk between final exams. Start a conversation that goes beyond “I’m fine.” The truth is, we all have hard days—but they feel a little lighter when we don’t carry them alone.

This month, let’s build a campus culture where asking for help is normal, where support is shared, and where we help each other have good days.

Check out this tips calendar for having more good days together, and visit the Mental Health America website to find other ways to celebrate Mental Health Month. If you have any questions or need any resources before summer break, please reach out to Counseling Services at 740-368-3145 or stop by our office in Corns 316.
