Cornhole for the Cure is a fundraising event organized by the brothers of Delta Tau Delta, helping the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF is our national philanthropic partner and the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Its mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
We plan to host a cornhole tournament on our fraternity’s front lawn/frat oval on May 7, 2021. It will be an afternoon tournament starting at 02:00 pm and ending by 05:00 pm. It will be a single-elimination tournament with two people on each team, and each organization can have a maximum of two teams.
There will be a participation fee is $10, all proceeds will go to JDRF. There will be exciting prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions (amazon gift cards $100, $50, $25). Participation is open to all students and organizations on campus. Everyone is welcome to register a team, show their skills, have a good time, and donate to the cause.

All COVID health and safety guidelines will be strictly followed. Student monitors will ensure they are implemented correctly. Masks will be required at all times. We will provide masks and sanitizers for free at the entrance. We expect all participants to follow the COVID-19 protocols failure to do so will result in disqualification.
