Delaware area residents are invited to go back to school this fall through the new Lifelong Learning Institute at Ohio Wesleyan University. The classes won’t include term papers or tests, but instead will create fun, engaging ways for older adults to continue to learn and grow. The non-credit classes will be taught by local professors, practitioners, and others in a non-competitive, relaxed environment. Conversation will be encouraged as learners share their experiences with classmates.
The inaugural term will be offered in the fall and the community is invited to learn more about the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) now during a free “sampler” event. The sampler session will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 4 in the Benes Rooms.
Advance registration for the sampler event is required before April 29 by visiting www.owu.edu/lli.
The fall LLI term will run from September 23 through November 1 and cost for the term will be $75 for as many classes as the participant chooses to take from the 10 expected offerings.
