As a student majoring in CS/Data/Math, you probably have heard the term “technical interview.” But what is it? How important is it to do well in it? How do you prepare for it?
These questions will be answered by Shaobo Sun, a software engineer at Stripe. Prior to Stripe, Shaobo worked at Yahoo, LinkedIn, and Quizlet. He has been in the tech industry for over 10 years as a software engineer and engineering manager. He has experience in conducting technical interviews, designing interview processes, making hiring decisions, and growing new grads’ careers.
In this presentation, Shaobo would go over how the interview process typically works in tech companies and answer any questions you might have about interviews and careers. We will also use the opportunity to do some mock coding exercises together! The goal of this talk is to help you better understand what to expect in the job market and how best to prepare for any upcoming interviews.
