The Film Studies and Honors Program presents Barbara Zecchi for a Zoom Event on March 8 from noon-1 p.m.
Barbara Zecchi is Professor of Film and Iberian Studies and Director of the Film Studies Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Zecchi has been a prolific producer of video essays displaying a particular interest in the form for her feminist interventions. She currently holds an editor position at [in]Transition, the Journal of Videographic Film and Moving Image Studies, and her work has appeared in the Sight and Sound “Best Video Essay” polls in 2021 & 2022.
