The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) and the Chief Diversity Office (CDO), in collaboration with Rafiki and Sisters United, invite you to this year’s Women’s History Month Recognition Lunch on March 30, bringing Women’s History Month celebrations to a meaningful close.
Throughout the month, campus partners have been hosting pop-up activities, reflection initiatives, and letter-writing opportunities inviting members of the OWU community to recognize women and female-identifying people who have inspired, mentored, supported, impacted, and led across campus. The Recognition Lunch brings these efforts together in one shared space of appreciation and celebration.
During the event:
- Women’s History Month Awards will be presented to women across campus in recognition of their leadership, service, advocacy, care, and impact.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to pick up personal letters written by members of the campus community — a heartfelt and individual expression of gratitude.
Date: Monday, March 30 Time: 12-1 p.m. | Doors open at 11:45 a.m. Location: Merrick Hall, Room 301
This event is fully catered with a selection of food, desserts, and drinks, along with special performances. All members of the OWU community are warmly invited to attend.
