March 26 @ 4:10 p.m. – Get the State of the Universe Report!

Want to get the Big Picture of the universe we live in? Then come to the 2024 Muller Award Lecture, The State of the Universe Report, presented by Dr. Glenn Starkman, Distinguished University Professor of Physics at Case Western Reserve University.

The talk is at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in SCSC 161, with light refreshments at 4 p.m.

Here is Dr. Starkman’s abstract for the talk: “Space is big. It is getting bigger. It used to be hot, but now it is cold. And when we look out in every direction, it is very nearly the same. How did it get this way?”

He promises you will NOT need to be a physics or astrophysics major to understand and enjoy it!
