March 20 @ Noon – Come Hear About SOAN Student Research Opportunities

On Wed. March 20 at Noon (Elliott Hall 4th floor lounge) Come hear about SOAN Student Research Opportunities at the SOAN Social. Lunch provided!

Presentations and information will include:  Hallee Limes ’24 will present on her SOAN-funded research on “Power of the People: Uplifting Global Communities” recognizing Pacific and Samoan voices, including her experiences presenting her research at professional conferences and Amarilys Torres-Nunez ’25 will present on her SOAN-funded research on anti-Black racism in Puerto Rico as well as SOAN faculty will be discussing how to get involved in the Qualitative Data Lab and faculty research, how to get department and university funding to pay for research experiences (e.g. Hough Award), and how to brainstorm / propose new research projects!  We look forward to seeing you there!
