Join us at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 in celebrating the importance of equal opportunity for all girls and women in sports. OWU Athletics will be hosting a moderated conversation with OWU female student-athletes via Zoom for local youth in Delaware County.
The panelists will share their experiences in sport, the leadership opportunities it has provided them, and the life lessons they have learned as a collegiate athlete. We would like to invite the children of our staff and faculty to join us!
Feb. 3, 2021, marks the 35th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). This celebration inspires girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power. The confidence, strength and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life.
