Ohio History Day invites you to spend a day learning from and being inspired by passionate and knowledgeable Ohio youth. To register as a judge for the April 27 statewide competition at Ohio Wesleyan, please visit https://oh.nhd.org or call (614) 297-2300.
Ohio History Day is a year-long research project designed for students in grades 4 through 12. The program culminates in regional and state level contests that take place in March and April, with both the Region 6 and statewide competitions held annually at Ohio Wesleyan.
The judge sign-up form allows you to request a specific History Day category that aligns with your profession or experience. If you have no preference, you be assigned to a category that needs your help.
Before the History Day contest you will receive your judging assignment with information on the category you will be judging and a contest rule book to read through prior to the event. The packet you receive will also contain information about what time you will need to arrive at the competition location for your judge orientation session and further instructions. The competition runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Merrick Hall. Thanks!
