Planning for the 2027 Melvin Van Peebles Symposium is underway, and we need your help! We are searching for committed individuals to join the planning committee for the 3rd edition of the MVP Symposium. The MVP Symposium is a celebration of Black Art and Artists, hosted in memory of OWU alumnus and renaissance man, Melvin Van Peebles ‘53 (See highlights from last year’s symposium here).
If you are interested in participating in the planning of this event, please complete this form and select which subcommittees you would be interested in helping with. We will send out additional information about expectations for participating in the planning committee at a later date. Everyone is invited to be part of the committee (students, faculty, staff, etc.).
