This year, in conjunction with the 250th anniversary of the United States, the curatorial theme at the Ross Art Museum is “Communication, Surveillance, and Democracy.”
Dr. Kennard will lead a course (COMM 490 Section 2: Art, Communication, and Democracy) during which students will attend curated talks with artists and academics at the Ross Art Museum as well as movie screenings at The Strand Theater on Thursday evenings during the Fall 2026 semester.
