Join us on Jan. 30 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in University Hall, Gray Chapel for the 25th annual Butler A. Jones Lecture on Race and Society. It is free and open to the public.
Sarah Burns, author of “The Central Park Five: The Untold Story Behind One of New York City’s Most Infamous Crimes” and (along with David McMahon and Ken Burns), the producer, writer and director of the documentary “The Central Park Five” will screen the film and answer questions afterwards.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. It won the New York Film Critics Circle’s Best Non-Fiction film of 2012 and a 2013 Peabody Award.
