Information security is an important component of the work you do at OWU as well as in your personal life. On Tuesday, December 6, you will receive a link to an online information security training course and assessment. The course is required by our insurance provider and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You need to complete this course by January 31, 2023.
The goal of this course is to raise awareness of security best practices and how to identify phishing attempts. Attacks are always evolving, so even if you have a solid technical foundation regarding information security, it is important to complete the training and assessment. To help keep our data as secure as possible, you will be required to complete additional courses periodically. We will also be conducting randomized phishing testing.
