Dear Students, midsemester grades were due from faculty on Oct. 19 and should now be visible. Midsemester grades provide a general sense of your progress in each class so far, providing guidance as you plan for the remainder of the semester.
Faculty will usually select midsemester grade options from the list below rather than using standard letter grades:
- P (Passing) – Current grade of C- or higher.
- U (Unsatisfactory) – Current grade of D+ or lower.
Use one of the methods below to check your midsemester grades:
Method A) Self-Service
- Hover over Grades at the upper left on the page.
- Select Grade Report from the drop-down list.
If you have a transcript or balance hold you will not be able to view your grade report in Self-Service and can instead access your grade estimates through Starfish.
Method B) Starfish
- Select the Courses tab on the left.
- Midsemester grades appear beneath each course.
If your midsemester grade does not reflect what you hoped, there is still time to seek help by meeting with your Faculty Advisor, your course Faculty, and contacting the Sagan Academic Resource Center (ARC) to access free services which are available to support all OWU students.
