Historic OWU Volumes Return After Conservation Work

Four historically significant volumes have recently returned to OWU Libraries’ Special Collections after undergoing professional conservation:

  1. Ohio Wesleyan University Record Book of Criticisms: School of Oratory (1901-1906 & 1906-1909 – 2 vol.)
  2. A History of Zeta Tau Alpha, 1898-1948.
  3. Perkins Hall Scrapbook (1957-1958)

To read more about each item, visit the library’s corresponding blog post, which provides details about content,  significance to the collection, and options for potential research. For on-site viewing, please make an appointment at https://calendar.app.google/QxSfzQv8WBPyrPQZ9.

This work was made possible thanks to funding from an IMLS LSTA Conservation & Preservation grant—written by Special Collections Librarian Stacy Chaney-Blankenship and awarded through the State Library of Ohio.
