Do you love animals? Do you want to help scientists study them during the solar eclipse?
All you have to do is download the “SolarBird” app (luddyeclipse2024.org/solarbird.html) and contribute 30 seconds of your time during Monday’s eclipse. No prior experience observing birds is required! Any member of the community can participate, so please feel free to share with your friends and family.
Dr. Reichard is collaborating with a team of scientists at Indiana University to study how birds respond to the solar eclipse. We hope that community members all across the country will participate and help us to better understand how animals respond to this rare celestial phenomenon.
