Finals week is coming up fast! Though you may be overwhelmed, take a deep breath! You can do this. Through the craziness, don’t neglect your nutrition! Here are few tips for watching out for your nutrition during the next few weeks.
1.) Watch your caffeine! Though it may be unrealistic to cut out coffee, be conscious of how much you are drinking and try to keep it to a realistic daily limit. Try to drink caffeine in the morning or early afternoon so that you can sleep well at night.
2.) Dial back alcohol. Consuming alcohol may increase your stress and anxiety, which you don’t need more of during finals.
3.) Bring snacks with you! Studying with healthy snacks can help you stay alert and keep up your energy.
4.) Don’t forget to drink water! It is always important to stay hydrated, as it reduces headaches and increases energy.
