Congratulations! When you graduate from OWU, you have the opportunity to convert your OWU BishopApps (Google Workspace) account to Email-for-Life, which preserves all of your data. If you don’t do this, ALL of your data may be permanently DELETED. That includes all your BishopMail, contacts, calendar entries, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, all files stored in Drive, YouTube videos, and any other content in Google services associated with your OWU account.
Once your enrollment status changes to graduate/alumni, you may convert your account to Email-for-Life here. This typically happens the week after Commencement. You know it has happened when you can no longer sign into MyOWU or Self-Service. Otherwise, be on the watch for an email notice that your account may be removed in the weeks after graduation. See the Help Desk website for a typical timeline and additional information. Again, if you fail to convert, your data may be gone!
