The Ohio Wesleyan University semester-long program in Tanzania is accepting applications for January 2020. The program is open to all majors and minors. Students complete an internship and take three classes. The East African culture course involves travels to national parks, historical sites and excursions to Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Lake Taringire and a climb of Kilimanjaro. Students also take a course on African Medical systems, a course on Women, Development and the Environment and Swahili.
Students will spend two weeks in Zanzibar where they learn about the history and culture of the Swahili people. Interested students should contact Professor Quaye on 740-369-3833 or email him at rkquaye@owu.edu.
