Gather Your Old Costumes for the OWU Halloween Costume Swap!

Do you have previously worn Halloween costumes that you have no use for? Costumes pieces such as hats, shoes, props, or masks that you no longer wear? Donate them to the Campus Halloween Costume Swap hosted by Tree House. Donations will be accepted at Tree House the week of October 24, with the thrift store occurring on Wednesday, October 26 from 1:30-3:30 pm and Friday, October 28 from 2:30-4:30 pm. This event will allow members of the campus community to browse through the gently used costumes donated by students and faculty, as well as donate their own as part of a Halloween Costume thrift store. The average college student purchases 1-3 Halloween costumes every year, many of which are from non-ethical sources that encourage the consumption of fast fashion. If you are returning home for Fall Break, take a trip down memory lane by browsing through old costumes that you have worn in the past couple of years. Additionally, you no longer have to worry if you are not sure what to be for Halloween this year as there will be costumes ready for you to choose from! The costumes remaining at the end of the week will be donated to Out of the Closet in Columbus.
