We are sad to share that former OWU Library Director Kathleen Weibel died July 29 in Champaign, Illinois. She was 79. Kathleen worked as a member of the Ohio Wesleyan staff from January 1984 to September 1990.
Family and friends have shared photos and memories online, including that Kathleen was a founder of the American Library Association, Social Responsibilities Round Table Feminist Task Force, and was honored with the ALA Equality Award in 1988.
