Former Provost Ken Goodrich Passes Away

We are sad to share that former OWU Provost Kenneth Paul Goodrich, Ph.D., passed away Aug. 10 in Columbus.

He served as Ohio Wesleyan’s provost from 1978 to 1983. During his career, Ken also held faculty or administrative positions at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Wisconsin, Macalester College, Syracuse University, and Linfield College. He earned his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Iowa.

In addition to being remembered as “an accomplished educator and a dedicated husband and father,” Ken had “a lifelong love of music, and led the chimes choir at Friendship Village, and sang in the Capital University Choral Union and other local choral groups.” Read Ken’s complete obituary.
