The University will be conducting state-required fire alarm inspections and tests over spring break in many of our academic buildings. You are not required to evacuate during the tests. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9-13. It will result in alarms sounding and strobe lights flashing multiple times per building based on the following, tentative schedule:
Hamilton-Williams Campus Center: The building’s fire alarm system will be tested throughout the day Tuesday, March. 10. In addition, very short fire alarms may sound throughout the week, Monday-Thursday, in connection with work on the kitchen exhaust hood.

- University Hall;
- Slocum Hall;
- Sturgis Hall;
- Elliott Hall;
- Phillips Hall;
- Branch Rickey Arena;
- Early Childhood Center;
- Haycock 3D Art Building.
Tuesday, March 10:
- Selby East;
- Selby West;
- Edgar Hall;
- Chappelear Drama Center;
- Sanborn Hall;
- Student Observatory;
- Hamilton-Williams Campus Center.
Wednesday, March 11:
- Merrick Hall;
- Edwards Gymnasium/Simpson Querrey Fitness Center.
Thursday, March 12:
- R.W. Corns Building;
- Beeghly Library.
