Join us for the Environmental & Natural Resource Symposium, which will feature a discussion on “Efficient Conservation: A Conversation with Two GLCA Graduates About Using Data to Maximize Environmental Impact.”
Elizabeth Schuster, an agricultural and environmental economist with nearly 25 years of experience, is the founder and CEO of a boutique environmental consulting firm that helps organizations maximize their impact through strategic planning and applied economics research. Previously, she worked as an environmental economist for The Nature Conservancy, focusing on sustainability and conservation efforts.
Nicole Burns, a landscape conservation biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, specializes in developing tools and resources to prioritize conservation efforts. With a background in coral reef conservation and a master’s degree in biology, she collaborates with state agencies and conservation partners to enhance environmental protection strategies.
Moderated by Will Georgic, Assistant Professor of Economics at OWU, this symposium will explore how data-driven decision-making can lead to more effective conservation strategies.
