For our last event of Black History Month, OWU’s Black Student Union is hosting its 2nd SOUL FOOD LUNCHEON on Feb. 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Ham-Wil’s Benes Rooms A and B! Students, friends, family, faculty, staff and the Delaware community are all encouraged to come out and celebrate the cuisine of Black culture at this event.
This event is both sit down and take out style; to go containers will be provided. The cost for all meals is $5. Menu includes fried chicken, fried fish, mac’n’cheese, black eyed peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, cornbread muffins, pound cake, peach cobbler and sweet potato pie! Come join us for some delicious home-cooked food!
$5 meals can be purchased at the door or in advance on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday tabling in the Ham-Wil Atrium during the noon hour.
