The DEI Council, Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, and Office of Multicultural Student Affairs are proud to present The 1619 Project Viewing Series — a series of film screenings that explore the legacy of slavery in the United States.
We hope this series will serve as an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to engage in meaningful dialogues about how the legacy of slavery still impacts our society today.
Through this series, we also seek to educate and inform our community about the history of African Americans and the community’s ongoing struggle for freedom and equality. We invite you to join us on this journey of understanding and appreciation.
