Feb. 22 @ 6:30 p.m. – Chief Revenue Officer at Williams Racing to Speak on Campus

OWU graduate Paul Asencio’92 will share the story of his success in the world of athletics at a presentation in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Benes B at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Paul is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Williams Racing, leading the British Formula One team’s commercial and marketing operations.  Paul started his career in sales for the New York Mets shortly after graduating from OWU and worked for his beloved baseball team for 18 years.  His roles included Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Sales and Services. In addition to the Mets, Paul grew sales departments at top sports brands including Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Fanatics sports merchandise retailer.

While at OWU, Paul majored in Accounting, played for the men’s basketball team, and is a member of Phi Gamma Delta.  The presentation will be moderated by his college friend, Evelyn Jones Walter ’91, who specializes in coaching and operates her own business, Next Up.
