The Departments of Theatre & Dance and Music present “Just One Step,” two acts exploring people on the verge of making big choices. Several short comic plays by American playwright David Ives will do this in a humorous vein and selections from song cycle “Songs for a New World,” composed by Jason Robert Brown will do so with powerful music.
Come to the Chappelear Drama Center’s Studio Theatre to see what happens. The performances are Thurs., Feb. 21; Fri., Feb. 22 and Sat., Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. and Sun., Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. All performances are FREE to OWU students with a valid student ID. Fri., Feb. 22 is FREE faculty and staff night. Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for faculty and staff, senior citizens and non-OWU students (cash or check only).
You can call the Chappelear Box Office at 740-368-3855 to reserve a ticket or come into the Chappelear Drama Center, Main Office, to reserve or purchase a ticket. Tickets will be available at the Box Office in the CDC lobby before each performance, starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
