The Bishop Backers Winter Community Day and Delaware Expo will return on Feb. 14, 2026, when the Battling Bishops men’s and women’s basketball teams play a senior day doubleheader in Branch Rickey Arena. Admission is free for everyone with an unexpired canned food donation to support the Delaware County Hunger Alliance, a United Way of Delaware County initiative.
The day will begin at noon when the Delaware Expo opens in Gordon Field House to showcase local nonprofit organizations and businesses. The expo runs until 3 p.m., and participants are asked to stay for the full event.
During this year’s Bishop Backers celebration:
- Watch the Bishops battle Wooster on the basketball court. (The women’s game begins at 1 p.m. and the men’s game at 3 p.m.)
- Meet Ohio Wildlife Center animals.
- Enjoy YMCA children’s activities.
- Explore a fire safety house.
- Learn hands-on CPR from Delaware EMTs.
- Find community service opportunities.
- Enter a free raffle to win a big-screen TV.
- Participate in a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Hunger Alliance.
