Feb. 11 – Career Trek: Columbus Museum of Art

Are you interested in going to learn about museum careers onsite at the Columbus Museum of Art?

Career Connection is launching more Career Treks after the success of our pilot program, and I am excited to share that the first Career Trek for the Humanities and Arts Career Community will be to the Columbus Museum of Art!

This trek will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This allows for the roughly 40-minute commute to the Museum in addition to the return trip home. Dress is Business Casual.

If you are interested, registration opens at 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16!  There are only 10 spots available.  Christopher Yates and Newton Kimberly will be the Chaperones for the trip.

10:15 a.m. – Departure from the University
11 a.m. – Arrival at Columbus Museum of Art
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Exclusive Tour of the Columbus Museum of Art
12 p.m. – 1 p.m.: Lunch and Panel conversation with staff members from all departments within the museum.
1:15 p.m.: Departure from the Columbus Museum of Art
2 p.m.: Return to OWU

NOTE: You must be able to attend all parts of the trek to participate. Once confirmed, you will be asked a series of questions to confirm your attendance.
