Feb. 10-13 – 🪴 FREE Succulent Planting 🪴

🪴Stop by our table in the Ham-Wil Atrium starting on Feb. 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and same times for the rest of the week until all the plants find a home!

During this time of winter cold, join us in “planting seeds for growth.” During the tabling, students can take home a succulent of their choosing and match it with a colorful pot, which they can customize anyway they would like.

February marks the Jewish Holiday of Tu Bishvat. While not as well known as other holidays like Hannukkah and Yom Kippur, Tu Bishvat dates back to marking the New Year for farming trees in Israel. Farmers used it as a cutoff date to determine the age of fruit trees, which mattered for tithes, offerings, and biblical laws about when fruit could be eaten or sold.
