Faculty and Staff – Help With Move-In Days!

Residential Life is busy planning for a safe move-in process for all our students, and we need your help! We’ve re-envisioned the process for the Covid-19 era, which has caused us to spread out the move-in process over a longer period of time. This will make our check-in and move-in processes less dense than in the past, but it also means the processes will take more time.

Faculty and Staff who volunteer will assist with our centralized check-in process, which will be located in a tent between the Beeghly Library and Corns Hall. You can sign up for 1-hour increments across all of the following days/times:

  • August 13 – 10:00am-4:00pm (students arriving early)
  • August 14 – 10:00am-4:00pm (students arriving early)
  • August 16 – 7:30am-5:00pm (new students)
  • August 17 – 7:30am-8:00pm (returning students)
  • August 18 – 7:30am-8:00pm (returning students)
  • August 19 – 7:30am-8:00pm (returning students)

Safety is of the utmost importance through this process, and we have considered all advice from medical professionals regarding Covid-19, including the use of face masks in the tent, limiting the number of people a student can bring with them to check-in, work station shields, regular disinfecting of work stations, and proper distancing between people.
