Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Week 3 – MFA
Even the strongest password can be stolen—but multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a powerful extra layer of protection for your accounts. MFA requires something you know (your password) plus something you have (like your phone or a code), making it much harder for anyone else to gain unauthorized access to your account.
Why it matters:
- Protects your account and personal information if your password is compromised.
- Stops most unauthorized logins, even if someone guesses or steals your password.
- Easy to implement but highly effective.
💡 Pro Tip: Turn on MFA wherever it’s offered—email, social media, banking, and shopping accounts. The more you use it, the safer your digital life becomes.
