Visit the Día de los Muertos Altar and Mini Altars Exhibit in the Ham-Wil Atrium, Oct. 27-31. The exhibit honors female Latin American and Hispanic artists who left a lasting legacy in our cultures, including Ana Caro, María de Zayas, and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
- Vote for your favorite altar from Oct. 27-29!
- Bring a picture of a loved one to add to the community altar in remembrance.
- Crafts and Mexican sweets will be available for all participants.
Learn about the rich traditions of Día De los Muertos, explore the cultural significance behind each altar, and celebrate the creativity and contributions of these inspiring women. This is a great opportunity to discover more about Latin American and Hispanic art, history, and customs while enjoying fun activities and treats.
