Sign up today to join colleagues and student tutors on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 12 p.m. in Elliott 101 for a hands-on workshop on designing effective writing assignments using the TILT framework. Lunch is provided. Please bring a current or draft assignment sheet.
We will discuss the TILT model and how it helps increase student learning and motivation, and also attempt to answer any questions you may have, such as:
- What do students actually notice about our assignments?
- What confuses them, and what do they like to see? (Get direct feedback from a panel of student tutors on what types of prompts cause confusion or spark engagement).
