The 2019 Sagan National Colloquium will feature alumni of OWU who have gone out in the world (or are just beginning to!) and worked to make a difference. They will share their stories and their passions! The title and theme of the series is OWU: Our World Needs You!
What I’m looking for: The logo should be broadly relevant, engaging and visually compelling. It should work in both color and black and white, and at small and large scales. The audience is both the OWU community (students and faculty) and the Delaware community.
The logo must include the series title, work in color and black and white and be entirely the work of the student artist.
Designs are DUE MARCH 25 to Ellen Arnold, efarnold@owu.edu, in the History Department.
Prizes: In addition to the reward of having your design featured in the SNC’s official publicity materials, the first place design will win a pair of Apple AirPods, and two runners-up will each receive a pair of tickets to the Strand.
Submission: Hard copy option-submit a hand-drawn or painted logo, on an 8.5 x 11 page, (about 6″ for shortest dimension). If accepted, these will be digitized. Digital option-submit as a vector file (Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc.). Submit one high-quality printed image on an 8.5 x 11 page (about 6″ for shortest dimension) and also as a low-res PDF (to preserve font choices). (Preserve your raw files or higher res PDFs to have them available should your design be chosen).
