We are sad to share that former OWU staff member Hilda Wick died April 29 in Delaware. Hilda was with the University from 1962 to 2009, hired as a professional librarian with the rank of assistant professor and working later as a part-time librarian for rare books/special collections.
According to her family and friends, “To really remember Hilda, is to keep going no matter what. To keep learning no matter what … no matter your age. At 95 years old, she was still writing emails and wanting to learn more about the computer and how to work a laptop. She never wanted to quit learning. She was still reading history and keeping up with politics even up until the last few weeks of her life.”
