This endowed award is granted to a current sophomore or junior SOAN major who shall use it to secure “practical acquaintance with the underprivileged class.” This award is competitive and is often given to pay expenses for work completed during the following summer. The recipient agrees to share a presentation to the department during fall semester following completion of the project.
Application Guidelines:
* Applicant writes and submits a proposal that states their end goal, what they hope to accomplish. The proposal must include when, where, and how, along with any other important details including how much funding is being requested.
*Please provide a detailed budget that includes any related travel costs, living expenses, etc.
