The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation provides more than $2 million in scholarships every year to United Methodist students attending UM-related institutions of higher education. Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year will be accepted until March 19, 2021, at umhef.org/apply/.
UMHEF offers two main scholarship programs. The Dollars for Scholars Program is a non-competitive scholarship that begins with a $1,000 award from your United Methodist Church and is matched by UMEHF for a total of $2,000. The General Named Endowed Scholarship Program is a traditional program that includes awards of various amounts from named funds established by various donors.
