If you’re a DA major with sophomore/junior standing, make sure to complete CS 210 and MATH 110 before Fall 2025. (There is still space in all of these courses for Spring 2025.) You’ll need these classes as prereqs to take CS 300.1: Data Mining and Machine Learning in the fall.
CS 300.1 is required for the DA major and is only offered in the fall of odd-numbered years. CS 110, CS 210, and MATH 110 will provide you with essential background knowledge to handle machine learning concepts in CS 300.1 and stay on track in your major.
