Connecting your phone, laptop, or tablet to campus Wi-Fi has been streamlined.
Previously, connecting to BishopNet required a two-step process: signing into the network and then manually registering your device on a separate website. Thanks to a new automation effort by Information Services, step two is no longer required.
Now, simply select BishopNet from your Wi-Fi list and log in with your OWU credentials. Your device will automatically register and connect you directly to the internet.
This improvement was driven by valuable student feedback and made possible by the dedicated work of our Information Services team.
Note: Smart TVs, gaming consoles, and other IoT (Internet of Things) devices will still need to be manually registered. Instructions for those devices can be found on the OWU Helpdesk website.
