The 15th annual Dale J. Bruce Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner was held on Thurs., April 18. The Top-Ten awards were voted on by the Ohio Wesleyan Athletic Council based on the student-athlete’s impact upon their family, their team, the University and the Delaware community. The winners included: senior Mackenzie Brunke (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange), senior Rachel Bush (Mount Gilead), Carmichael-Tanaka, senior Tommy Davis (Clyde), junior Ahmed Hamed (Hilliard/Bradley), senior Jack Hibbard (Valparaiso, Ind./Wheeler), senior Liz Knowlton (Gilbertsville, Pa./The Hill School), senior Maddie Lancaster (Lake Tapps, Wash./Auburn Riverside), senior Alexis Roberts (Louisville, Ky./Christian Academy), junior Cirrus Robinson (Columbus/Ashland), senior Ben Whitbourn (Norwich, United Kingdom/Wymondham College), and senior Jake Worrell (Powell/Olentangy Liberty). Ohio Wesleyan’s Top 50 student-athletes were based off of grade point average and the list of winners can be found by visiting battlingbishops.com!
