Come listen and learn about the Buddhist ethics from John Hacker-Wright, a professor of philosophy at the University of Guelph. His research focuses on virtue ethics, moral psychology, and other ancient philosophies. He is the author of Philippa Foot’s Moral Thought (Bloomsbury, 2013) and Philippa Foot’s Metaethics (Cambridge, 2021). He is also a practicing Zen Buddhist with Ocean Mind Sangha.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 15, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. in Room 161 of the Schimmel-Conrades Science Center.
