Come listen and learn about the Buddhist ethics from John Hacker-Wright, a philosophy professor at the University of Guelph.
Hacker-Wright’s research focuses on virtue ethics, moral psychology, and other ancient philosophy. He is the author of Philippa Foot’s Moral Thought (Bloomsbury, 2013) and Philippa Foot’s Metaethics (Cambridge, 2021), and he is also a practicing Zen Buddhist with Ocean Mind Sangha.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 15, from 4:15-5:45 in Room 161 of the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center.
