For the second year CHEM 100 1: Principles of General, Organic, and Biochemistry, is being offered as part of an articulation agreement with Mt. Carmel College of Nursing. Students who might be interested in a nursing career are encouraged to take the course, as are other students who might want to explore a more applied version of chemistry and satisfy a science requirement. Learn to make soap, extract DNA from a fruit or vegetable, see how many calories are in the nuts you had for lunch, and find out where lactose is digested. Lecture is MWF 11:00-11:50 and lab is Wednesdays 1:10-4:00. For more information, contact the instructor, Dr. Kayce Tomcho (katomcho@owu.edu).
Note: Students cannot earn credit for both CHEM 100.1 and CHEM 110.
