June 17-20 (2nd-5th Grade: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. | 6th-8th Grade: 1 p.m.-4 p.m.) This camp is designed with 2 goals: 1. Provide a fun experience for boys in grades 2-8 in a basketball environment. 2. Teach the necessary skills & fundamentals to help them improve their basketball abilities.
All campers will receive instruction from members of the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staff, as well as current/former OWU basketball players. Cost: $160 (includes T-shirt) – discount available to kids of OWU faculty/staff! Email davogel@owu.edu for details.
Site: Branch Rickey Arena Ages: Camp is open to all boys entering 2nd-8th grade in the fall. Boys will be divided by age for small-group instruction and 3v3/5v5 games. Players are to bring: A comfortable pair of basketball shoes. Water/Gatorade will be available for purchase at the concessions stand, and there is a drinking fountain located in the gymnasium.
